Born and raised in Berhampur, Ganjam District, Sanjukta hails from a family deeply rooted in service and community. Her upbringing, amidst six sisters and two brothers, instilled in her values of compassion, dedication, and leadership from an early age. Her father's tenure with the Accountant General's Office set the stage for her journey of service to society.

Sanjukta pursued her education with diligence, attending schools both in Bhubaneswar and Berhampur. Her academic pursuits led her to attain a Master's degree in Economics from Berhampur University, complemented by a degree in Education from the Regional College of Education in Bhubaneswar. Armed with knowledge and a passion for making a difference, she embarked on a journey of service that has left an indelible mark on countless lives.

Her journey within the realm of service began in 2007 when she joined the Inner Wheel Club of Bhubaneswar Metro. Stepping into leadership roles, she served as the President of the club during the term 2009-10. Under her stewardship, the club undertook numerous impactful initiatives, touching the lives of communities in Paikarapur, Malipada, Jadupur, Ghatikia, and Shampur. Her dedication and innovative approach to projects earned her the respect and admiration of her peers.

In 2020, Sanjukta extended her commitment to service by joining the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar, where she quickly emerged as a dynamic force. Serving as the Secretary of the club during the term 2021-22, she demonstrated unwavering dedication and a keen sense of responsibility. Her exemplary service and passion for social causes have propelled her to accept the mantle of President of the club, where she will undoubtedly continue to inspire and lead by example.

Beyond her professional and philanthropic endeavors, Sanjukta finds strength and support in her family. She is married to PP Prof. Gopal Krishna Nayak, a pillar of strength in her journey. Their son, Rahul, contributes his talents to Microsoft India, while their daughter-in-law excels in her career at Zynga. Together, they form a formidable team, united in their commitment to service and making a meaningful difference in the world.
