09-03-2025: Our Club had organised a Mega Eye Check-up Camp at our Club's Adopted Village Seulakunda on 09-03-2025. RID 3262 DG Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra had graced the camp. Total Eye Check-up Registrations and Eye Check-ups were 182 and 158 persons were provided with FREE SPECs, out of which Rotary District had supplied 127 pairs of Specs of specific powers and RCB Metro had provided 31 pairs of Specs of other required powers. 18 Catract patients detected and sent to hospitals for Catract Operation. The Camp was followed by Prasad Sevan, where the DG also participated.

11-03-2025: Inauguration of Hand Wash Unit and Cool Drinking Water Project of 50 litres capacity with 6 Taps were inaugurated by RID 3262 DG Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra at our Happy School Project Gadamalipada Govt. UP School. As our Club had donated 130 School Bags, 36 numbers of Bench and Desks, 22 numbers of Low hight Four Seater Tables, 8 numbers of Tables for Teaches, 4 numbers of Long Tables for Food Serving and 8 numbers of Ceiling Fans were donated earlier, Hence the DG inaugurated and declared as the FIRST HAPPY SCHOOL of RID 3262 during the Rotary Year 2024-25.

20-03-2025: Our Club witnessed with the Historic Event of RID 3262, at Rotary Bhavan, Bhubaneswar, where the District received the Recitations of India and Asia Book of Records for Creation of 200 Feet Sand Eye to popularize the Organ Donation Awareness on last Rotary Day.

23-03-2025: Our Club had organised the District Seminar on E-Waste Management, jointly with Institute of Live Sciences at ILS Auditorium, Bhubaneswar. RID 3262 DG Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra inaugurated the seminar and appreciated the theame of the seminar and spoke on its importance in current developed and developing world. Rtn. Dr. Gopal Krishna Nayak introduced the theame of the Seminar. The Speakers were Dr. Mitrasen Manjhi, Mr. Manish Ranjan, Mr. Nilabdi Samantaray, Dr. Debashis Dash and Rtn. Dr. B Ravindran. Rtn. Dr. Latha Ravindran was the Seminar Coordinator ans Rtn. Adv. Surya Patnaik was the Seminar Organiser. The Seminar was followed by the Fellowship Dinner.

29 to 31-03-2025: A Deligation of 18 members from RCB Metro participated in the District Conference at Mayfair Hotel, Gopalpur.  Our Club also participated in the Election Process of the DGN and the District Member for Director Nominating Committe.

08 and 09-02-2025: The Two Days Rotary District 3262 PDG. Brig. Narayan Nayak Memorial Golf Tournament started at 120 TA Battalion Golf Course, Bhubaneswar, organised by our Club. Over 80 Golfers Participated. In the evenin,g the valedictory function was organised at Officers' Mess of the 120 TA Battalion, Bhubaneswar. The DG Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra was the Chief Guest and PDGs Rtn. Dillip Patnaik, Rtn. Bhabani Prasad Choudhary and Rtn. Jayashree Mohanty had graced the Occasion. Presidents and Club Members of other Clubs had joined the function along with our members and their spouses. Prize Distribution to the Winners was followed by cultural activities and fellowship Dinner.

14-02-2025: Organised Painting Exhibition : Our Club organised the Painting Exhibition at Kaling Art Gallery, BJB Nagar, Bhubaneswar for the Arts of the two sisters Mrs. Manaswini Mahapatra and Mrs. Sarojini Mahanty. Our Club President Rtn. Smt. Sanjukta Nayak inaugurated the Exhibition.

15-02-2025: Our Club organised Eye Checkup Camp at Pipili Health Institute, Pipili with support of NETRAM. In this Camp, 117 persons' Eye Checkup was there, out of which 82 pairs of spects were distributed and 8 Catract cases detected, who are tied-up with Rotary Eye Hospital for their necesary treatment. Rtn. Capt. Navin Sarma and Rtn. Adv. Surya Patnayak played lead roles for suceess of this Camp. Pipili MLA Shri Ashrit Patnaik had inaugurated this Camp and President Rtn. Smt. Sanjukta Nayak welcome all the guests, technical team and the patients.

15-02-2025: Our club participated with the District Seminar on Environmental Sustanability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) at Vivekananda Kendra, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar. In this Seminar, Rtn. Kulamani Deo, Rtn. Dr. Ramesh Ray and Rtn. Dr. Narayan Tripathy of our Club were felicitated for their notable contribution towards Environment.

This scuplure ranked for Limca Book of World Records and Asia Book of Records.

28-02-2025: Our Club organised the Blood Donation Camp at Birla Global University, Gothapatana, Bhubaneswar. In this Camp 120 students were motivated for Blood Donation and 61 units of Blood were collected. Rtn. Dr. B K Das was the Cordinator. Club Secretary Rtn. Dusmanta Sahoo, PP Rtn. K C Patnaik, Rtn. 13-12-2024: The signature project of our club is to make Govt. Gada Malipada UP School a Happy School. As a part of this project 22 units of bench cum desk for senior classes and 16 units of low height tables for junior classes were donated. Our club also donated 6 units of tables for teachers and 2 serving tables for the dining hall. The programme was attended by DG Yagnasish Mohapatra. 12 and 13-11-2024: Our club organized a two day workshop on imparting skills to 22 women members of Self Help Group. The programe was called Project Dignity as its objective was to make Women financially independent and earn self respect. The skill involved creating value added products from Tubor Crops. This program was conducted in association with ICAR - CTCRI regional Center in Bhubaneswar. The Director of ICAR - CTCRI regional Center Dr. Laxminarayan inagaurated the programme. Dr. Ramesh Ray was coordinating the programme. DG Yagyanshis Mahapatra gave away the certificates. The Participants were enthusiastic the possibility of augmenting their income by such exciting and health food products. 25 Rotarians of our club participated in the event. The total cost of the project was INR 50,000.

14-11-2024: Our club celebrated Childrens Day in Thee Trust in Pipili in the company of 30 special children. A drawing competition was organized and certificates were awarded to the children. There were also fun activities among the children to kindle their thinking. Navin Sarma was the coordinator of the program.  5 Rotarians of our club participated in the event. 05-09-2024:  Our Club celebrated Teachers Day at Tapovan High School, Bhubaneswar by felicitating all the Teachers of the School in the presence of our DG Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra. 20-09-2024:  As a part of the Inter School Talent Search programme, a Eassay writing competition was organized. 10 Students competed in the programme. The topic was "Education is essential for quality of life". The judges were Rtn. N. C. Padhi, and Rtn. Capt. Rasananda Rout. 25 Rotarians participated. The total cost of the project was INR 5000.

20-09-2024:  As a part of the Inter School Talent Search programme, a Quizzing competition was organized. 12 teams from 12 schools competed in the programme. The quiz master was Rtn. J.K.Tripathy. The scores were maintained by Rtn. K. C. Patnaik. This event was witnessed by District Governor Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra. 25 Rotarians participated. The total cost of the project was INR 5000.

20-09-2024:  To honour the teachers who educate children to be good citizens, our Club selected 12 Dedicated Teachers from remote village areas and felicitated them with Rotary Nation Builders Award. The Nation Buildrs Award Ceremony was organized in S M Ali Govt. High School, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar. The teachers were felicitated with  a Shawl and a Citation by DG Rtn. Yagyansis Mohapatra.

Thif programme was followd by presentation of certificates and cups to the winners of Debate, Singing and Quizzing competitions.

Lunch was arranged for teachers, students and rotarians.

21-09-2024:  The Club participated in the District Positive Peace Seminar held at Holiday Resort Hotel, Puri. Members also participated in the Inauguration of District's First Peace Pole at Netaji Subhash Chowk, VIP Road, Puri

26-09-2024:  Annapurna Day was observed at AVA Delang. A feast was held for 265 inmates and 10 staff members. The project was sponsored by Mrs. Sukeerti Patnaik on the occasion of Birthday of her husband late Group Capt. Rtn. Soumendra K Patnaik. 4 Rotarians participated. The total cost of the project was INR 15000.

27-09-2024:  Our club sponsored 2 Adult Literacy Centers as a part of RILM Adult Literacy Programme. The total cost of the project is INR 14000.

29-09-2024:  4 members of our club participated in District Literacy Seminar. Our club was recognized for sponsoring Adult Literacy Centers by PRIP Sekhar Mehta. 

06-09-2024: IPP Rasananda Rout spoke on Literacy. This was organized to commemorate Rotary  Theme for September - Basic Education and Literacy.

01-August-2024: A Drinking Water Filter was donated to Ashraya Children's Home. This project was inaugaurated by DG Yagyansis Mohapatra. The Project was sponsored by Rotary District 3262. 30 orphans and 10 staff members will benefit from thie Project. 7 Rotarians in addition to the DG participated. 01-August-2024: Grocery Items including Rice, Dal and other material was donated to Ashraya Children's Home. 3-August-2024: 20 members of our club participated in District Organ Donation Rally. This rally took place between Rotary Bhawan and Ram Mandir. The objective was to motivate the public about benefits of Organ Donation. 10 Rotarians participated in the event. The total cost of the project was INR 7,000

4-Aug-2025: District Seminar on RI Theme of the year Magic of Rotary was held in Cuttack. Hon'ble MLA Sofia Firdaus and DG Yagyansis Mohapatra were guests of the event. Many PDGs spoke on the subject. 4 Rotarians of our club participated in the event. The total cost of the project was INR 5000.

5-Aug-2024: On the occasion of Breast Feeding Awareness week, our club visited Bhubaneswar Municipality Hospital in Lingaraj Road. The expectant mothers were addressed on importance of Breast Feeding and its effect on the baby. Our club members distributed Baby dresses, towels, fruits and biscuits in the gynic ward. 10 Rotarians of our club participated in the event. The total cost of the project was INR 5000.

8-Aug-2024: Under the Swabalambi Project of the District, our club donated a multipurpose selling cart to Shri Surendra Sahu in Pandara Chhaka. He will use the cart to sell Chat and other eatables. This will enable him to earn livelihood for his family and live a life with dignity. 10 Rotarians of our club, 5 Rotarians of other clubs in addition to the DG and PDG Rabi Nanda participated. PDG Rabi Nanda inaugurated the project along with DG Yagnasis Mohapatra and President Sanjukta Nayak. The total cost of the project was INR 25,000

The two charter members anlong with Rtn Sunanda Nayak wife of Charter President Late Bring Narayan Nayak were felicitated. The charter members cut a cake. The President Sanjukta Nayak spoke in memory of Charter President Brig. Narayan Nayak. The program was followed by fellowship and dinner. 30 Roratians along with their spouses participated. 13-Aug-2024: Our Club hosted the District Seminar on Organ Donation. 

Opening Remarks by Rtn. Bikramaditya Nayak laid the context of the Seminar. Dr. Pravas Acharya spoke on “Role of Media and the NGOs in Organ Donation”. Dr. Jayant Dash spoke on the topic “Skin Donation and Skin Banking: A Boon to Burn Patients”. Mr. Jitendra Sadangi demonstrated “An APP for Empowering Organ donation”. Dr. Soubhagya Das spoke on “Brain death declaration & its importance in organ donation & transplantation”. Dr. Umakant Satpathy spoke on “Role of SOTTO - The Importance of Pledging for Organ Donation”. Kamal Panda from USA presented his experience "From Aspirations to Actions: An Odiya Boy’s Journey to Promote Organ Donation". One Organ recepient spoke on Learning Directly from Organ Donors / Recipients. Rtn. Rajesh Mittal spoke on role of Rotary Action Group on Organ Donation. 

The Seminar also included multiple videos illustrating the need for Organ Donation. There was a live Q&A session where Dr. L.D.Sahu and Dr. B. Ravindran clarified the doubts.

A Special Bulletin was released on this occasion.

The Seminar was attended by over 220 participants from both Rotary and Non-Rotary fraternities. 47 participants took the pledge to donate Organs. The total cost of the project was INR 1,50,000.

Good morning!

Yesterday, August 13, was observed as Organ Donation Day worldwide. I had the opportunity to attend one of the events held at the Institute of Life Sciences. The day's slogan was, "Be the Reason for Someone's Smile Today!"

For over three hours, I listened to doctors, social activists, administrators, and beneficiaries discuss various aspects of organ donation. It was a profoundly meaningful experience for me.

I wanted to share with you that four remarkable individuals from our XIMB family played a crucial role in coordinating the event. They are Prof. Gopal Nayak, Madam Sanjuktha Nayak, Prof. Latha Ravindran, and Dr. B Ravindran.  Their efforts were truly commendable.

I felt  happy so thought of sharing it with you all.

15-Aug-2024: On the occasion of the 78th Indepence Day on our Country, our club joined the students and teachers of Sriharsha Memorial School for the Deaf in their celebation of the Independece day. Children from two other schools and Senior Citizens from a Old Age home also participated.

President Sanjukta Nayak hoisted the flag and addressed the student on how to be a good citizen of our nation. Secretary Dushmanta Sahoo and Manoj Sahoo a scientist also addressed the gathering. This was followed by cultural programme by the students.

This programme was attended by 10 Rotarians.

16-Aug-2024: On the occasion of the Membership Month, an inhouse seminar was organized in the club. PP N. C. Padhi spoke on the occasion. He highlighted the current status of membership, need for membership growth and strategies suggested by RI for increasing membership. He also spoke on membership culture of our club.

19-Aug-20204: Our club attended the marriage function of Amrita, an orphan girl, who grew up in Adruta Childrens home to an Engineer from Kerala. Our club members contributed INR 17000. 7 Rotarians of our club participated.

20-Aug-2024: Annapurna Day was Celebrated in Maa Ananda Ashram. A feast was held for 50 orphans and 10 staff members. The project was sponsored by Sunanda Nayak. 4 Rotarians participated. The total cost of the project was INR 5000.

21-Aug-2024: Our club members participated in the District Event Shraddhanjali Padayatra in Bhubaneswar. This was to show our solidarity for the Rape and Murder victim Doctor in Kolkata. 5 Rotarians of our club participated. The total cost of the project was INR 1500.

22-Aug-2024: Our club distributed 100 saplings to Tech Mahindra for their plantation drive.  3 Rotarians of our club participated. The total cost of the project was INR 3000.

23-Aug-2024: On the occasion of the Membership Month, our club inducted two new members - Dr. Brajendar Kumar Das and Sandip Biswal. The former is an ex-banker and the later an insurance professional. Rtn N. C. Padhi did the honours. 40 Rotarians of our club were present in the event.

23:-Aug-2024: On the occasions of Rakhi Purnima and Janmashtami, Rotarians and Innerwheel members celebrated by worshipping Lord SriKrishna and tying Rakhi. Rotarians contributed towards the fundraising efforts of Innerwheel Members.

5-July-2024: The Joint Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Metro and the Inner Wheel Club of Bhubaneswar Metro took place on the evening of 5th July. In a traditional handover, Rotarian Sanjukta Nayak assumed the presidency from outgoing President Rasananda Rout, while Rotarian Dusmanta Sahu succeeded Anadi Charan Sahu as Secretary of the Rotary Club.

Assistant Governor Basant Kumar Mishra was Guest of Honour in the Meeting. He spoke about roles and responsibilities of the Office Bearers. He emphasized on the role of Rotary in conservation of environment.

Priyadarshi Pani, a renowned IT entrepreneur and CEO of CSM Technologies, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He delivered an insightful speech on the significance of Green Information Technology in climate preservation. The ceremony was conducted by Rotarian Dr. Latha Ravindran.

10-July-2024: In association with NSS wing of XIM University, a seminar was organized in XIM University to sensitize the students regarding importance of Plantation for preserving the Climate. Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Sahoo, Rtn. Narayan Tripathy and Prof. Tapan Khuntia spoke on the subject. This was followed by a quiz. The programme was attended by 10 Rotarians, 100 students and 5 faculty members of the University.

10-July-2024: In association with NSS wing of XIM University, a mega Plantation programme was undertaken. Over 250 saplings were planted in the premises of XIM University. The programme was attended by 10 Rotarians, 100 students and 5 faculty members of the University. The total cost of the project was INR 25000.

18-July-2024: Our club participated in the District Grant Management Seminar held in Hotel New Marrion. The seminar was very educating with PDG Pravudutta Subudhi, PDG Dillip Patnaik spoke on intricacies of Grant Management. The program was inagaurated by RID Anirudha Roy Choudhury. The seminar was attended by 6 members of our club.

19-July-2024: CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina and Our Club visited the plantation sites in Tikiri. We collaborated with CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina in planting about 100 saplings. This is an ongoing project of CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina. 15 Members of our club participated in the programme. The total cost of the project was INR 10000.

19-July-2024: CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina and Our Club visited the Livelihood project where about 40 women stitch  uniforms and other garments in a micro garment factory in Tikiri. Our Rotarians praised the ladies for their effort to be financially independent. This is an ongoing project of CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina. 15 Members of our club participated in the programme. The total cost of the project was INR 24000.

19-July-2024: CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina and Our Club visited the Aditya Birla Public School in Tikiri. Our Rotarians interacted with the Principal and the Teachers of the school. Our rotarians also gave a few suggestions on how to build characters among the students. This is an ongoing project of CSR Wing of Utkal Alumina. 15 Members of our club participated in the programme. 19-July-2024: To enhance Public Image of Rotary, Our club exchanged Club Flag with Utkal Alumina Officers. We also informed them about Rotary and its Activities.

20-July-2024: Members of our club visited Jagdalpur and visited natual beauties of Chitrakote and Tirathgarh Water falls. We also visited Koraput and Rayagada.15 Members of our club along with their spouses participated in the programme. 

25-Jul-2024: Metro Arogya Abhiyan (MAA) is a programme for bimonthly health checkup in orphanages. On 25th Jul, this programme was conducted in Ashraya Children's Home. Health Checkup was done 30 Orphans and records were maintained. 3 Rotarians including a Doctor Saroj Mohanty Participated. The total cost of the project was INR 5000.

25-Jul-2024: Metro Arogya Abhiyan (MAA) is a programme for bimonthly health checkup in orphanages. On 25th Jul, this programme was conducted in Prativa Ashram.
